    3. Told through the eyes of Monty the Fish, the reader explores the world of a zoo through the eyes of a fish that acts very much like a child. The unusual observations of the wildlife held captive in a zoo makes for a splendid opportunity for your young muses imagination to soar. Coupled with the hunt for the worm in each beautifully illustrated scene leads to extra excitement and the delight of exploration. 4. I was given the opportunity to read Monty the Fish Goes to the Zoo in exchange for an honest review.Cuddling up to my five year old, the vibrant pages of Alonge’s children’s book immediately caught my attention. Bright and playful, the artwork that accompanies the large, simple text are engaging, and I could see my child’s eyes darting around each illustration. There’s a nice texture to the pictures that allow the animals to be recognizable, but approachable, featuring smiling lions and [...]

    5. I enjoyed this quick adorable read so much I read it through twice right away. The wording is a fun adventure for kids to enjoy. The wonderful rhythms make adults appreciate the story. That worm can be tricky to find! This is a book I will enjoy reading again and sharing with kids. The illustrations also lend themselves to imaginative conversations.A great tool for encouraging creativity.

    6. Great picturesLoved the vibrancy of the pictures and the quest for the worm in each one. Very cute book for young children.

    7. I have to admit upfront that I offered to read this expecting to be unimpressed. As an experienced storyteller, I showcase books through reading them aloud to groups of young children in open environments and simply couldn’t ‘see’ how an e-picture book was going to work out. I was wrong! This book surprised me on a number of levels.First, Monty is a fish but the storyline doesn’t take place in the water. This didn’t bother me for very long as I quickly got swept up in the storyline. Clev [...]

    8. My older son (6 years old) loved this book. My ten month old had a harder time paying attention, but that is expected at such a young age. I recommend this book for children between the ages of 2 and 6. My son loved that on each page he had to search for the worm and as the story went along, the worm became harder to find. This engages the child more than just passively listening to the story. The characters were each doing unrealistic activities which made it very funny to him. He loved the pand [...]

    10. Monty's fun storyI just finished reading Monty's story with my 6 year old, we both enjoyed reading it together, & liked the silly animals. We think other kids will enjoy it and don't forget to look for the sneaky worm on each page.
