    1. This is a horrible cookbook! It was a gift from my husband, we plan to cook together from it weekly (sweet idea right?) But either Janet Hughes is sadistic, or the book was not edited. We've followed 4 recipes so far, each was needlessly time consuming and would dirty a ridiculous number of pots & pans if you were to actually: sauté in small pan, transfer ingredients to a 1 quart pot, add stock, THEN transfer contents AGAIN to a 3 quart pot when making the Hearty vegetarian sausage and cide [...]
