    1. Raw is a modern day Romeo and Juliet, only without the suicide at the end. This is a very different book than anything I've seen on the market. Neal is not your typical male romancer. He's not a tattooed, rock star, or an alpha male. In fact, he's the boy next door, but there's something so inherently sexy and so appealing about him. Drew is not your typical romance heroine. She's tattooed, pierced, foul mouthed, and utterly loveable. Neal and Drew by all accounts should NOT work. They are polar [...]

    2. The quest for “MORE” by a powerful and very dysfunctional family. The determination to hang on to a piece of family history and heart strings by another very dysfunctional family. Will their feud reach new heights of hatred and deceit, when their children find a tentative interest in each other blossoms into the kind of friendship and love that has a future if they can only hold on? Raw, by Solange Poirier is a modern day version of an ancient theme, the battle of love and independence versu [...]

    3. Ohwhere do I begin???? Let me start off by saying that I absolutely LOVED this story. I was addicted! The characters and story line are well developed and made me feel like I was a part of the book. I don't think I've read a book that is anywhere near like this one. As I read this book I got sucked in I wanted to know Neal, I wanted to be Drew, I wanted to beat down Emily, I wanted to have a friend like Candi well I think you get the idea. Neal is not an "Alpha Male" like most books I've read - [...]

    4. A tale as old as time. Two family's at war with each other. Good and evil? Foolish pride? Petty drama? Or could it be all of the above? Ms. Solange paints a very vivid picture of a classic Romeo and Juliet scenario. Only more modern, edgy and simplistic. The realism of the story is just one of the reasons this author captivated me and did not disappoint! The story follows two family's, the McHugh's and the Monroe's. Just as in Romeo and Juliet we have two main characters that should not fall in l [...]

    5. Neal has known Emily his whole life, he got her a job at RAW Sushi Bar as a favor to her parents so she can pay them back. He is really regretting getting her that job. Drew goes into RAW every Sunday to read and enjoy her time for herself. Neal hates the way that Emily stares at Drew. He tells her and another waitress to stop staring and do their jobs. Where Drew works her boss likes to have them show as much skin as possible. Drew works at Plethora, always sits in Neal's section at RAW. She is [...]

    6. As I said, Raw had a Romeo and Juliet type vibe, but not really, when you read it you would now where I was coming from, I am not going to go into detail about the plot because it is so entwined that it will spoil your reading experience, and I enjoyed the heck out of it this story, it's an awesome read and I loved it and I want you to do the same.I do want to tell you about these two amazing characters I met though. So we meet Drew, the so called 'black sheep' of her family, I liked her instant [...]

    7. this book was a modern day tale of romeo and juliet. i fell in love with the story pretty much straight away!could not put it down!it left me gripped and wanting the HEA to happen! i loved how the characters were so drawn to each other but still kept fighting it! thanks for this opportunity! it was a true pleasure! This was an received complementary copy for an honest review and I reviewed on behalf of 2 girls who love book reviewers

    8. This book pulled me in from the start and had me absolutely captivated. It will pull at your heartstrings and have you laughing at the same time. The characters are well developed with some background info. The side characters are great also and I'm hoping that some of them will have their own book in this series. It's a book about families against families, mother's and father's planning their children's future without considering their happiness and those same children going on to live their o [...]
